Prayers needed for "Darkhorse" 3rd Battalion 5th Marines

and their families. They are fighting it out in Afghanistan and have lost 9 Marines in the last 4 days.

hold up you have miss understood me! I spent 5 years in the corps 87-92 and yes did both legs of storm and shield was there for 9 mths
Blood makes the grass grow is from a chant we did in boot camp. at Parris Island. I'm at work is the reason I don't get to respnd quick. I agreed with you!

army, and i will joke and kid with any service member in any other branch, but when push comes to shove, i will also defend any other branch of the military. guaranteed.

Also to answer your question yes I have lost family in every war and my family actually has one that was awarded the CMH he was a marine also in Vietnam from little ole town of Liberty.

Sorry. Old news...this happened in 2010. The 3/5 Marines were a component of the 15th MEU on deployment on board the USS Peleliu. They just returned home to Camp Pendleton this past week. Still pray for our Marines. My son used to be an EWO w/ VMAQ-4 and later was attached as a FAC to the 3/6 Marines in Fallujah. Semper Fi!!
