I hope some of you guys will give them their due credit. It's just a matter of time before the offense bails out the defense. I know the proof's in the puddin, but there's still a lot of season left. Go Tigers!!! Beat NC State!!!

I would love to. What they did against SC St was not eligible for consideration due to talent different

PIG - I hope you are right! Right now; though! You get why the criticism is going on right?
I do think people are barking up the wrong tree though! It should be in this order.
1. OL Coach - i don't care who you are; if a play isn't blocked well it won't work, period!!!! 2. QB coach - why hasn't the "juan" job the QB coach has. why hasn't this position seemed to progress? 3. Coach Elliott and Coach Swinney together for not addressing 1 and 2.

I still think TE has to bear quite a bit of the blame for horrific play calling. When the other team knows the play it's hard to block, throw run and catch against them.

I hope I'm right too. I do understand a little moaning and groaning, but many are calling for these coach's jobs. Fans really have a short memory. I don't want us to go backwards either, but I think this coaching staff has earned a little fan patience. Remember that half of the team is performing at a very high level. It's a team. Go Tigers!!! Beat NC State!!!

This might be a genius level move by Dabo.
Blow out wins in 11 straight games after the opening season loss and the narrative would have been...Clemson only played one team and they got beat.
Now with the offensive problems, once (ok, if) they are corrected, the narrative will be...If Clemson's offense played like this against UGA, the outcome might have been different.

Dabo really likes to slow roll the offense at the beginning of the year. This has been going on for a number of years now. The thought process is that if you peak to early you can’t sustain that peak. Therefore we start slow and then turn up the offense mid October towards November. This has worked fairly well but I think we may have sunk the anchor in a little to deep at the start. Furthermore now he’s said that we don’t stink when clearly we have. I’m guessing he’s had covid and his sense of smell just hasn’t returned yet. However now he’s laid the groundwork to either light up NC State or have even more fierce scrutiny next week. Should be interesting to see. Guess we should call them the fighting Dabos

Some people just aren't happy unless they are complaining. One week after we won our last national championship (Jan 2019), these boreds were littered with threads complaining about the team being served fast food at the white house. That tells you just about all you need to know.
