recently, he was asked, “What do you say to someone who’s done everything in golf to motivate or encourage him?” . . . LaCava, a quiet gentle sort, simply replied, “Show me something!”

As my Tigers prepare for a hungry Pack this weekend, all I have to say to them is “Show me something!”

I’ll be there to see if they respond.

I share your hope that the Tigers will show us something. I also hope that the US Ryder Cup team will show us something positive for a change.

That quote could also apply to our fans. Instead of freaking out on social media, perhaps our fans could show they have some knowledge of how football works and appreciate that our players and coaches are working tirelessly to correct the issues but sometimes it takes time.

So I will be watching our team on Saturday but also our fan base to see if they act like they are not new to college football
