bullwrenkles would become crazy zacks(steepest hill to parking lot) bookstore would become the corporation(downtown) in 1982. The original corporation would become the corporation 93.
A new large dance place opened in 84 called Union Station.

The last year it was me and Kurt Weatherly, Shawn's brother.
Great memories. The 1981 football team had a few regulars at Bollwinkles, mostly led by Jeff Stockstill. The song "Apache" by the Sugarhill gang kind of became an anthem for some of those guys. That song was later made famous in the 90's whenever an Atlanta Brave hit a HR in Atlanta.

Man, Glad there are others near my age.
Roller coaster night at the Corp on Wed. nights helped conserve beer money. Writing checks at the book store covered your *** because everyone at home just knew you were studying.
Don't remember Mother's Finest at the Corp., but, I could have been studying that night.
Did see them at Davis Social Club in Mayesville, SC. on a Sunday afternoon with a few of my friends though.
Thanks for helping me remember some good times.
Oh, and then there was Football too.

Hey, what about Tiger Tavern!? You tellin' me no one showed up on Fridays ( think that was the day) when pitchers were 25 cents at 11am and went up 25 cents or 50 cents each hour?
I'm pretty sure that's the way it went down. Please correct me if I'm wrong!
Free beer (almost) and Galaga.
Good times for sure...

Best Tiger Town Memory, at least one in the "it'll probably never be duplicated catagory":
Crazy English Prof. I had took us there for a "class"- we drank pitchers and discussed basically nothing. (That was before the drinking age changed.)
Life was a little simpler then!

OBX for a week last summer. The pier at Rodanthe had a Galaga machine and my grandson couldn’t believe his grandfather could wax his ###! Got the machine high score and let him put his initials in. Did the infornative Wright Bros. Museum so his parents would be satisfied we did something educational. Galaga - what a game! What memories!

"the women were all ladies and the men were all gentlemen". Some of us were just college students having a good time. However we were well on our way to becoming pillars of society.

I thought the corporation was where TDs is now. And was it Union Station or College Station? They had 25c Wediemans beer. Great for a good game of quarters. 75c can beer night at Bulwinkles on thurs. Then there was Quarters. They really should lower the drinking age back to 18.

18 year drinking age for beer and wine was perfect. I called it drinking with training wheels. Good way to learn how to drink.
