Cade is not gonna save us, he needs a weight room, it’s also up in the air how good he actually w, he plays on one of the top 3 most talented teams the country, his team out mans everyone they play easily with talent. I work out of Texas, West Lake smashes everyone, even “generational” talent Ewers (one game Ewers was good enough to almost beat them and you have no idea how absurd it is they were in the game at all).
So I think we will get things fixed and win another natty in the next 5 years, but Cade is closer to Hunter Johnson than Trevor out even DW4.

I've seen you post this a couple times. I hope he's not close to Hunter. What kind of offense do they run? How is he with the rpo? Can he run. His tape and mechanics look pretty sound. Hunter really turned out to be a bust. Obviously they didn't have the talent level at NW, but even at that, seemed like Hunter had problems reading the defense... But don't know as I only saw his stats and maybe one live game.
I know his HS team is good but so isn't the teams he goes against.

I actually live here in Texas and have seen him play several games He’s big and can run too, he’s also on the track team. Yes, he plays for one of the best teams in 6A and is surrounded by some great players but he will at Clemson too. Comparing him to Hunter Johnson is just silly. Dabo got us a good one, Go Tigers

I just don’t wanna count our chickens before they hatch like with DJ. Cade is obviously good, he’s consistent at camps and wins… I just worry til I see it on the big stage against better athletes, smaller windows. Lots of people that are not Tiger fans down in Texas are not sold on him at all… just passing along what I am hearing from locals that are die hard Texas HS football fans, it’s not fair to the kid to put the pressure of “saving” us as a freshman either. I didn’t say he would turn out like Hunter, but he’s closer to him as an overall talent, and even a little lower rated, than he is to a Trevor.

Yeah, kid is a gamer, has nice mobility and a live arm. Comparing him to anyone right now is silly to me, but I wanted him WAY more than the Simpson kid who committed to Alabama. Cade plays against some of the best programs in the country. That and my eyes seeing his talent is enough for me. Go Tigers.

stadium insofar as the concessions,etc. Badly in need of renovation. Plus it’s on the river bin town and not much tailgating areas that I saw. We tailgated in a parking garage.

I was lucky enough to receive a behind the scenes tour of Neyland with a UT donor and a friend who is a structural engineer in NYC/Brazil. We were in the bowels of that place and there were some major growing concrete cracks and ongoing plate repairs. I don’t know jack, but the structural engineer couldn’t believe it. The sinkhole issues were no secret, but to hear some of the technical concerns from an expert was fascinating.
Place is an eyesore. Ugly rafters everywhere. Kind of like Penn State’s place in that way. Except penn states cracks were being spread in the showers…
