What's the deal with Oliver Jones??

According to multiple earlier stories, Oliver Jones had left the program ... but one of the media guys reported yesterday that he was at practice but limited by an injury. Does anyone know for sure if he is still a part of the team or not???

he was a senior when i was a freshman in highschool he went to my youth group and he stops by sometime to catchup but he has torn his acl once in highschool and he did again last year he said that he was not going to play football anymore but i hope he still is i remember the first snap he ever took i was at the game and he pancaked the guy it was awesome stick with it O.J.

As a 96 alumni myself, I was looking forward to seeing him as well. Not since Ronald Williams, have we had a good player in D1 football.

that he sustained last August?
He's had a couple of ACL injuries now and some foot surgeries.
In fact, its fair to say that OJ has battled through a series of injuries since he arrived at Clemson in 2012.

and was going to be a student coach. I could be wrong though.
I also don't think there's any rule against retiring and then "unretiring"

Oliver Jones is no longer an active member of the football team. He gave up football because of all of the injuries. He is still on scholarship, but it will not count towards Clemson's scholarship limit.
