4

Jun 1, 2023, 6:26 PM

I’m filling in for MFO tonight.

Tonight we are having salmon with rice on the side.

What’s on your table tonight.

I live in Easley. Fla is the first part of my last name. Like some of you other poasters, my job moved me all around the eastern part of the country. ‘84 CU grad and after graduation lived in SC, KY, South Florida (twice), Erie PA (twice), St. Thomas, Akron OH, and Asheville NC. Moved to Easley at the end of 2019 and worked with the 55 Exchange Student Ice Cream program at Clemson for 3 years. Retired fully Dec 31. Loving life right now.

Our address is Easley but we’re just south of Easley between Easley, Pelzer, and Powdersville. Small neighborhood out in the country. Really like it here.

that you CAN buy canned brains? Pig brains, that is, also called "offal", although that term is not exclusive to the brains.

Even with some fava beans and a nice Chianti, I think that is a hard pass from me.

When I was a kid, my grandmother would scramble eggs and pork brains together. With the eggs it wasn’t nearly as bad as it sounds.
