Whatever happened to rowing?

With all the talk of bringing on more womens varsity sports, i was looking at was being played. I remember that we started rowing about, what, ten years ago? We were pretty good, i rememeber for a few years, competing against big 10 powerhouse schools. Havent heard about it in years, though. Anyone know what happened?
When it comes to lacrosse, there are several acc schools that are tough...syracuse, uva, duke. Thats gonna be a tough row to hoe

As a program. With how much we put into it and how teams flock to our facilities to practice, we should be a consistent top 10 program and flirt with a national title sometimes imo

I’ve heard that hotels in Clemson do well in the spring when the northern schools come down to start their preseason work.

They added women's rowing as a varsity sport in the mid 1990s.
