What wood TNet most like to see from the offense tomorrow?
Oct 29, 2021, 3:56 PM

|
1) A completed forward pass > 20 yards to the MOF? 2) Perimeter blocking from a Wide Receiver? 3) Commitment to (not abandonment of) the run game? 4) More involvement from the Tight Ends? 5) More imaginative play calling (motion, misdirection, getting playmakers in space)?

Pretty good list I'd say. I'd love to see Stellato get a chance in the slot.
But really just clean on the basics. More improvement with DJ and the rpo. But if FSU makes a good defensive play, so be it, as long as it was executed correctly.
Definitely attack more MOF.

Amazing to me why Stellato can't get any reps in the slot. He can still play 4 games and not burn his R.S. Head scratcher.

Expectations have lowered over the last few weeks. I’d like to see a wide receiver make an attempt at a block. Just get in someone’s way or touch the Jersey of the opposing team on the front side. Run the #### ball. Defensive score. 28 points. Please.

Did you notice Dabo absolutely unloading on Grisham when Ajou whiffed on the perimeter block last week? I think he's aware of the problem.

I’ve seen some pathetic play on every unit of the offensive side. But none have been worse than the receivers imo. Huge backstep. Running backs are only ones I’ve thought looked decent and half of them quit. What a year.

I’d like to see our O Line hold on every play like all the other teams and only get called once for it late in the 4th quarter after the game has been decided.

Down field, and across the middle passes that were caught by the receivers. DJ to stop looking down what ever receiver he was throwing to, and to start using his feet to buy himself more time to locate his open receivers, and there is an open receiver on about every pass play.
NEXT
Would love to know that TE threw away that play book that they have used since The Chad. And to never call another pass play toward the short side of the field with the intending receiver being behind the L,O,S, and to never ever call another run play into the full strength of any defense as if we have an invisible RB that's never seen with the ball in hand!!! Every time that I see those type plays mentioned called, it makes me want to eat green persimmons just to help take the sour look off my face when he does call some of those asshurting awful plays that hardly ever work unless we're playing a team like SC State!!!

Some passes longer than 10 yards over the middle, hopefully to a TE a few times in the mix...plenty of them. Then maybe a long crossing route down field a few times. Add those to a nice touch of a perfectly placed pass over the shoulder of a wr that just drops in his hands for nice touch on a TD pass. That's all I am expecting tomorrow. 31-20

DJ run the ball at least a dozen times. Keeps the defense honest and he would punish some LB's.

A complete game out of our offense. Doesn't have to be pretty but just consistency. We don't have to score every drive or convert every third down but just something to give our offense some confidence and something to build on.
