Well after a 4 hit game yesterday anyone would be justified in questioning the hitting. Glad to see they shook it off to have an unbelievable day hitting the ball. I hope they keep it up. Go Tigers!!

Players will have down days and teams will have down days. It’s a long season.

Well there’s two ways to have a big day at the plate. Hit good pitching or really hit bad pitching. Today was more the latter, but provided the much needed boost in confidence coming off the last few games of strikeout city.

Hitting isn’t a switch you turn on/off. Teams don’t forget to hit all of a sudden.

HINT: It has always been about the pitching.

Monte’s teams don’t perform well offensively against good pitching. That needs to improve,

True statement

Show me this against a #1 or #2 pitcher when the series isn’t over and the opponent isn’t throwing a garbage pitcher to save an arm.

I doubt any coach is saving an arm in a conference game - more likely that's the best he had left after the 1st 2 games.
