What two ftball players were not at March Saturday?

That will tell you who tested positive for COVID-19. Or/and if there were no paticular postion groups there, it might narrow it down since I believe all the players who work out together are from the same postition group; therefore, those players would probably need to be quarantined?
Does anyone know the strategy from the athletic department is taking in quarantine to prevent it from spreading to more players?

would venture to say if the entire team got infected at once, they would all recover. But, that would put a huge pool of family members and contacts at risk.

This might be a bit against the grain, but would it be better to expose them all to the virus and have them catch it now and thus eliminate the chance of them developing it later on?

You just don't give a #### about medical privacy, huh?

It doesn't matter who has it, just that two players do, and I trust the team and University to go above and beyond in taking preventative and quarantine measures.

we'd know. I am so freaking sick of leaks and speculation in all aspects of life. The only thing that drives me even more nuts are the ##### who somehow think they have a divine right to know private things.

We here before a game about five players out for the game, do they just indicate the particular players are sick with flu? Or if they miss more than one game do we assume they had COVID with the coaches protecting the players what they actually have it?

It is absolutely illegal to release that information.

It is absolutely illegal to release thazt information.
So then how do they disclose anything if more than a couple players miss more than a game? How do you release that info. without mentioning it on an injury list?

Well, first off, it's HIPAA not HIPPA. (Not your mistake, Snowtown.)
Second, it applies only to health care providers AND those who insure them.
If Clemson has the fiduciary responsibility for the student's insurance, it applies to Clemson. At least, that's my layman's understanding.
