What's up with all of these offers to 4-star recruits?

It sure looks like when we still have a lot of players to choose from, almost all of our offers go out to 4 and 5-star players. I wonder why that is?

when we have a pretty much a wide open field of recruits to choose from, we are choosing 4 and 5-star recruits, NOT 2 AND 3-STAR GUYS WE WILL HAVE TO DEVELOP! Not diamonds in the rough! We are going for the studs! It couldn't be more obvious!

Simple, it's because most of the 3 star recruits either haven't shown any interest in Clemson yet or visited campus. As soon as they visit, they may receive offers if there's not already an offer on the table to another player who fills that need.

just aren't interested in Clemson and THAT'S why the 4 and 5-stars get most of the early offers? Really? C'mon man. There are tons of HS football players that would give their left nut for a Clemson offer at this point.

Maybe someone on the coaching staff feels that we have more than enough players that will take 3-4 years before they see the field in very close games!!!
With all the 3 stars that we have recruit, and if they end up signing, Dabo could be working on a plan to clog the portal with said 3 star players to force the NCAA to make changes, that is if the NCAA will be around that much longer  !!!!

we have 6 scholarships left... we have 3 offers who have not decided, we need to save a few for any portal transfers in the spring if we chose to use them. Why do you think we have "alot" of players to choose from? Who do you think we should offer and why?
