Top Oath Keepers convicted of Seditious Conspiracy
Nov 29, 2022, 6:38 PM

Stewart Rhodes and Kelly Meggs, Rhodes' underling who was going to bring the weapons they had stashed in the hotel room as part of the so-called "Quick Reaction Force", were convicted of Seditious Conspiracy; the other three were acquitted of sedition but were convicted of obstructing an official proceeding. They were all convicted on a number of lesser charges as well.
My guess is what saved Watkins and the others from sedition was that Jessica Watkins - who was in charge on the scene - dithered; when pressed to bring in the weapons she wouldn't give the order...because she was waiting for clear instructions from Donald Trump to do so. That clear order never came. My guess is this decision from Watkins also prevented a much larger incident because if the Oath Keepers had come into Congress shooting, stuff would have escalated majorly and I think we'd be having very, very different discussions now.
Regardless, the Feds got the two big fish for Seditious Conspiracy...which is one step removed from the most serious charge the Federal government can bring...that being Treason.
These are...large convictions. And it does not bode well for Enrique Tarrio and the top Proud Boys, who face similar charges next month.
The real question seems to be "when", not "if", the Feds' interest invariably turns to Roger Stone. If Tarrio and the Proud Boys are similarly convicted, Roger's going to have some real 'splaining to do. Actually he does already. The guy who drove Stone in the golf cart that day already pled guilty to Sedition.

A jury on Tuesday convicted Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes of masterminding a plot to violently subvert the transfer of power from Donald Trump to Joe Biden, finding that Rhodes entered into a seditious conspiracy against the U.S. government. Though Rhodes only fellow conspirators were his meth-addled girlfriend, Chastity, and a homeless guy named 'Skeeter', all three were convicted, despite their only weapons being MAGA hats, and thanks to imbedded FBI agents, the threat was averted.
Stay tuned to CNN for ongoing coverage of this vicious attack on democracy. And now, a word our sponsor, Nike.

Not in this case. They are getting what they deserved. This is great news. It's awesome seeing so many of these traitors being convicted.

They didn't all do the same thing or have the same intentions. Why on Earth would you think one size fits all for all of them?

else you wouldn't have then said "I wish I had been on the jury so that I could witness the deliberations."
Were there rioters that planned to stop the lawful actions of Congress that you think haven't been prosecuted by the feds?
Are you calling for the local rioters in Portland, for example, to be prosecuted by the feds?

Bums like this are trying to steal our country. Our most sacred tradition is peaceful transition of power following elections. Hitler became dictator when he held a different title and then he combined two different positions into one which he assumed. Trump just like hitler was trying to change the rules to better serve himself instead of better serving the country.
