What is it with some of these athletes who have a great future ahead of them??

Especially at UGA. Could not sleep so I stumbled across this article from CBS sports.

“ Ex-Georgia LB Adam Anderson indicted by grand jury on rape charge that led to dismissal from Bulldogs “

It seems like UGA is one of the worst schools with a bad reputation. UGA seems to always have one or more athletes who have run ins with law enforcement. If convicted he has thrown away the best years of his life.

I am so glad to be part of the CLEMSON Family. I think our former and present athletes have represented our school with tremendous character and integrity. I can’t remember over the last 20 years where one of our Alumni or current athletes have been arrested or had a run in with law enforcement. I am sure I missed one maybe two incidents but overall Tommy Bowden and Dabo have been coaches I would have wanted my kid to play for. I listen to Tony Elliott speak at a Clemson function. He said the coaches at Clemson’s first goal is to evaluate the kid then ask him where he sees himself in his early 30’s. Although they focus on winning games but their main focus is to build good men out of kid’s. By building good men you build winners.

I just wanted to post something positive about Clemson, the fans, the great coaches who serve as excellent role models, remind myself and other fans just how lucky we are to be a Tiger.

Thanks for reminding us again how lucky we are as Tiger fans. Our coaches see the big picture and focus on what’s truly the important thing. Building great family men who will leave a positive impact on our football team and also our community.

They said there is no way he raped anyone. Not in his nature. He is a little slow mentally though. This is a he said, she said situation. She is not all there either. Just a sad situation all the way around because he had an NFL career ahead of him too. His biggest mistake was putting himself in that situation in the first place. Ugghhh…

Poor judgement and no boundaries.

Not a good mix.

There is a reason that Georgia wins the Fulmer cup regularly.

The important thing to remember is an college athlete is nothing more than a young man or woman who, just like you and I, are fallible beings.
