What is back story on Clemson Fan The Hat?

Anyone know the background of The Hat? Dude sits first row at Basketball games and I see hom first row behind home plate at baseball and softball.

Seems like a good dude.

Great guy! Down to earth and does a lot for other folks. He and the Clemson Santa (Tony Adams) are great friends and will be hanging out on games Tony can come to. Tony lost his wife this past year and it has been really really hard on the guy. Dean currently has a YouTube channel if you like to fish you will love it.
