Shouldn't it be just more like people you put up with because they live next door ,or work in the same place? Same with Dawg friends, or tar-hole friends ,or the occasional Irish neighbor who only pulls for N.D. cause they like green, or are Catholic?

Now that most gas stations are self serve, the only thing I say to coots is "thanks for the pizza delivery, keep the change."

that I have any Coot friends. Of course I have a Coot sister and two Coot brothers, but, unlike friends, you don't get to pick your family, unless you adopt.

I live in Columbia.
I work in Columbia.
I go to church in Columbia.
I have coot friends. Most of them are nice people; misguided for sure, but basically good people.
I have talked 2 of them into rooting for the Tigers. Several others have not converted to Clemson fans, but have abandoned the chickens.

As long as Clemson keeps winning and USuC keeps losing, I'll keep talking with them.
