The last 8 years say hello. Also, I for one do not want Chicago, California, and New York electing our president. This is why democrats win the popular vote.
If we want to go this route then other states do not even need to vote. Look at the map. Clinton was defeated county by county outside of the aforementioned states/cities. The electoral college exists for a reason.
Bottom line is the country is split down the middle in its beliefs and the day of one party trying to shove their agenda down the others throats is not going to work. Executive orders need to be curved as well.
This country is for the people and by the people. One person will not destroy us wether it was Clinton or Trump.
Hillary is a liar as well so I am not sure what you are getting at there.

I was more prepared for Trump's win, because I disliked both candidates. Also, we are likely still in the playoff. We should revisit this question in 6 months.

for US factories like BMW. There can be nuances. Kind of like how the cars aren't considered imports now, even though all the parts of the cars are from abroad basically already, but the cars are assembled here. There are ways. Trade war does sound bad, but not for BMW. I am no expert though.
