If Trevor Lawrence was our Qb against Alabama.....

We would have won. Let me explain my reason why before I get blasted. Yes I know the offensive line got destroyed the entire game. But Trevor Lawrence has a faster release and more zip on the ball then Kelly Bryant. Trevor Lawrence can throw on the run better then Kelly Bryant as well. So therefore I really believe because of a faster release and a more accurate ball We would have won the game with Trevor Lawrence. It’s ok though Trevor Lawrence will get his chance soon enough!

What happens if Trevor Lawrence can fly? It gives Clemson...

The run, pass fly option which no team has seen or can defend!
He can fly around behind the LOS until our WR get open! Or he can “fly scramble” and just land in the end zone ! I think it is pretty much unstoppable.
I hope Dabo starts TL if he learns to fly!

And if Tom Brady had been the Falcons quarterback last season the Falcons would have won.But he wasn't, and neither was T.L.our quarterback last Monday. So there my point is moot, and so is yours. And I'm not blasting you.I'm just pointing out that your argument or scenario is an opinion only because he wasn't on the field.

But you've got to admit a healthy, younger Brett Favre would've given Bamer fits. Especially if we had Anthony Munoz blocking for Earl Campbell. We would be playing tomorrow night. if only.....

If the QB can throw the ball at a greater velocity, it arrives on target before WRs like Deon Cain can take their eyes off the ball and start to look for an opening in which to run - then they won't drop it. So, they catch more balls because there's not enough time to become distracted. Brilliant! If we're to remain WRU, we need to incorporate this technique immediately.
Actually, Bryant may not be a great downfield passer (and I don't think he is), but our WRs showed problems all season, dropping balls, failing to catch the back shoulder throws, failure to high-point the ball and inability to get separation - things that Williams and Leggett were very good at doing. Until Higgins and Overton gain experience and weight, we will not be as good as we were at WR - and WR was as much of an issue in our passing game this year as was QB. Not quite enough developed talent.
We're very close to a team that reloads and I think we'll get there, but we're not quite there yet. But whatever it is, we're sure a whole lot better than we were 10 years ago.

SMH....
The OL (including blocking RBs) and WRs were more responsible than Bryant was for that loss.

Agree - crazy that people think a different QB would have won that game. KB2 will be our QB next year and we better get behind him. He's got plenty of what it takes.

Bama is bringing more than the OL can block then the BACKS have to block also. Got it?

I’m not sure a lot of people are aware but Alabama’s defense

Is better than most high school defenses. Let’s give the young man some time. I think when he’s ready he’s gonna be ridiculous.

TL is gonna redshirt and that's gonna break TNet.
He's still quite raw and has too much talent in front of him. He'll be a star when it's his time.

doesn't know the offense, has no timing with the receivers and has never faced a college defense, much less one of the best.
QUIT THIS CRAP!
It does no one any good and puts more pressure on the kid before he even enrolls.
