I can recall watching their games against schools I have no interest in -- Kentucky, for example -- and I'd find myself naturally pulling against great kids like Shaw and Lattimore. And I caught myself thinking, "Why can't I pull for these young men?"
And then I remembered the fans.

Everything said above is true but I think the worst thing for me is that they are such poor winners! Even ordinarily nice people turned into arrogant, obnoxious winners with absolutely no grace or humility after their recent run of wins against us. I refuse to sink to that level, so after we win our third in a row on Saturday, I'll just say nothing with a smile. Let them squirm waiting for me to treat them like they treated me. Frankly, we have bigger chickens to fry in the playoffs. Go Tigers!

Before the 5, I dreaded talking to any SCar fan/alum because of the delusion that if they played our schedule, they'd be undefeated or they'd have more wins than we do.
Post 5, I don't quite understand what they want... not only do they want to live in the past (sound familiar?) and talk about how good they were, they want us to say that we were terrible or that we sucked, as a whole, during that stretch because we didn't beat them. I can live with the "you were better than us for 5 years" discussion, but I don't understand why we have to cower down and say that because we lost 5 in a row to them, that we were an awful team.
The universe is slowly correcting itself and the dominance we are used to seeing from Clemson against them is starting to become more normal again.
