I also prefer a Florida trip as my first choice. My second choice is something closer to South Carolina. I've traveled following the Tigers these last few years, and I don't regret it at all. However, this year, I would like to save a little money and still follow the Tigers.
I want to see the Tigers in the Peach Bowl after winning the ACC Championship but that is a tall order hoping that 2 other teams lose so the Tigers can get a chance to go so if that does not happen then my #1 choice really is down in Jacksonville,Florida for the Gator Bowl.I have been to all of Clemson's Gator Bowl's that occurred since 1977(7).
Would like to go win a bowl trophy we don’t already have OR…

At least play someone different than usual. Wouldn’t mind a Big12 or Pac12 matchup this season…Sun Bowl, Holiday Bowl, or Cheez it Bowl in Orlando. I suppose the Gator Bowl is fine too. Not a fan of going to Charlotte unless it’s to get that ACC title.
resulting bowl, I'd like a return to the Gator...some of the best bowl trips I've attended.
One of the best was the 1989 versus WVU, which we won, but a crowd of us stayed at St. Augustine Beach, went on a dinner/gambling cruise, attended the parade, etc. and had a blast tailgating with a crowd of WVU fans. It was my parents' last chance to attend a bowl, which has made it more poignant. The people throughout the Jacksonville area couldn't have been nicer, and the drive from Columbia was easy enough and fun, as the interstates were full of Tiger Paw flags flying.
Might add we attended the Gator when we played Stanford, and friends, those west coast space cadets were a rare, but entertaining breed. When the Stanford band performed their show, everyone sitting around me was saying, "What in the he1l are we watching?" lol

I and my wife were sitting about five seats over from the Stanford band. They did not do much up in the stands. One girl had a pet lab rat and showed it off like a medal. I told her she at least had a date for tonight. Just do not make the skydivers have to jump through the fog which stopped at approximately 300 feet. One guy landed outside.
Was at the Stanford Gator Bowl with my two young sons. Strom Thurmond was sitting behind us. He was great and friendly. He could have sat most anywhere when he came to Clemson, but chose to sit out with us commoners. What a great man he was, a true gentleman and statesman.
Only bowl experience I had was the 1986 Gator Bowl, Jacksonville was a great host town, the game was a thriller but the highlight was hanging out in the press box having beers with Wayne Weaver and other Jax elite when the game was over.
