I know, don't jinx it. Yada yada.

Remember when we would be just inside or just outside the Top 25? Then we'd lose a game and tumble hard. By the end of the season we'd be excited to go to Jacksonville or Atlanta or Orlando for a chance to finish in the 15-20 range.

That's where the ACC resides. Teams like Pitt, NC, and Duke are this year's versions of a constant rotation of ACC teams who, because they have to earn respect, have relatively no margin for error. We have no margin either with regard to Top 10 status, but it just feels so different to know we truly belong.

I used to hate hearing others teams' fans talking down about us, but now I realize we really weren't that good. We were pretenders - capable of beating almost anyone, but not good enough to believe in ourselves and avoid crapping the bed.

the Bowden Era. We showed flashes of good, but we were not nearly the complete team that we are today.

Yes I remember when I was excited to see us in the top 25. We have become spoiled and I love it. Time to take the next step, Championships. Go Tigers!! We have come a long long ways from when I was a boy in the late 90s and 2000s.
