There's a reason Brent wanted him to go to OU with him. I believe we found a diamond in the rough.

Not so sure about the offense, though.....a lot of questions after tonight's game.

Agreed. How many one score games have we had lately where we didn't have to rely on a goal line stand because our opponents drove the whole length of the field in the final minute.

Offense still has ??? marks.

Receivers and pass-catching by the RBs have been doing better, but two easy drops ruined at least one drive. And where was J.Ngata?

O-Line was OK, but both Rayburn and Putnam got beat too much. Needs to play better in 2022.

DJ had a respectable game. He still had that brace on his index finger; one has to wonder if the game plan was designed to keep him from throwing the long pass. His one somewhat long pass (in 1st half to B.Collins) was both soft and under-thrown. DJ's arm is tremendously strong, but if his index finger is mush then his passes will also be mush.

Hopefully the big ???s on offense get fixed before start of 2022 season.
