We’re Playing an Excellent Team Today

Yale is really good, and it’ll take one of our best games of the year (complete, both halves) to get a win against them.

For some background, they lost on a buzzer beater 3 to Penn State on the road. Penn State is ranked 23rd and 10-2 this season.

They’ve won 6 in a row coming into the game. We recruited their leading scorer Jordan Bruner. Stereotypes aside, they’ll play really smart basketball.

If you’re in town, scoop up a cheap ticket and come watch some good basketball before Christmas!

Yes, they find other ways to get financial aid for full rides. They have a number of players that were offered by power conference teams or high mid-major programs. Bruner was a 4 star top 100 player by at least a couple of services that Clemson really wanted. We finished 2nd for him after Yale.
Harvard is another Ivy League Program that gets good bkball talent under HC Tommy Amaker. Penn does as well sometimes.
