And put UNCheat away, this silly onside kick BS wouldn't even be an issue. Unfortunately, our under performing defense allowed an inferior NC State, Syracuse, Coots and now UNCheat teams to hang around instead of putting them away. The way we finished the season with so many questionable defensive performances is the reason everybody in the media while not actually saying it, implies we are overrated and undeserving of the playoffs. All that is BS, we are deserving but to move on to our 2nd National Championship ( that's right you Mushscamp coots, we already have 1 more than you'll ever have!) the defense has got to come to play all 4 quarters.

There are some who doubt our #1 position.
Obviously Vegas doesn't think we deserve to be the top team.
But 99.9% of the people on TV and other media agree that we are definitely deserving of a spot in the playoffs regardless of how we finished the season.

D gave up 2 TD's on short fields with our 2 turnovers. Defense Dominated other than 3 drives. One of which we turned them over. if we play 8 complete quarters we win by 3 TD's in both.

I have heard numerous times...that the offense or defensive lines need to step up in certain games..well if we are to win the NC...the secondary has to be the best in the country. All year long I have heard how great the Clemson secondary is... time and time again there have been mental errors. It is time to show that you are indeed the best... the line play has been special, running game been steady, receivers... sure a couple of dropped passes but overall has been great. Now it is time for the DB's to step up their game.

After December 31, no one will ever bring up any of those games again. No one calls Ohio State an unworthy champion last year, even with it's loss to a putrid VA Tech team. All anyone ever brings up is their dominating performance against Alabama and Oregon in the Playoff. It will be all about how we perform against OU, and, if we take care of business in the Orange Bowl, Alabama/MSU.

If you ever played a down you would know what 10 in a row starting with Notre Dame
would do to your body and mind ., we are just Thankful to win all the games with no injuries .,
Lets see you work 10 straight Saturdays like a knife fight in a ditch and practice ,., meetings
and go to school to ., you would fold in 3 weeks ,.,. so be happy we are NUMBER ONE .,
