Big Surprise? RB Stats

Is it a big surprise that Lyn-j finished the regular season with the second most rushing yards on the team? (531yds) I'm a little surprised (but at the same time I'm not. He's a freak). Liking our future at RB.

Well, TBH, he got almost 400 yards in 3 games,

in the 2nd halves against Furman, Wake, and Louisville,
with weak, tired defenses in routs. Lyn-J is and will
be a great back, but Feaster got some tough yards in
tough games and had some great pass protection. Will
be great if Feaster is back next year to have 3 great
RBs in an explosive offense.

While that is true , the kid carries the ball as well as any true freshman I have ever seen in a Tiger uniform . He is fast , yes ... but watch him make great decisions with his blocks and how well he sets up defenders in front of him . This young dude is special , same way Travis is .

Very true. Tavien had a lot of things not go his way this season but he kept hanging in there and has finished the season with some impressive performances.

Yea stats are skewed a bit with him. IMO a more appropriate reaction would be at all of our RB's production. They were all MUCH better than last year.

Choice playing a key role in the offense at the goal line. That, and averaging 7.5 yards per carry, 2nd on the team.
