and I'm excited about it.

If Freeman really wanted $200 million, I'm OK with the Braves decision to let him walk. The team can buy a lot of really good players with $200 million.

Love Freddie but if he’s not willing to be somewhat reasonable they gotta do something. Obviously dealing to win now and not later.

Not sure how the trade will turn out but most of those guys are a few years from the majors. Hopefully they can use some of that Freddie money to get another starter.

Olson has been really good in power & OK in Batting Avg., but it's been in the AL and he will have a steep learning curve on the NL pitching. Braves gave up a TON, so they better extend him beyond '23.

like Chipper did. BUTT, I don't blame the Braves, I don't think I would have given him a six year deal at his age, either. That seemed to be the deal killer, from what I have read. Freddie wanted that sixth year, and was not willing to budge off it.
