But, Clemson recruiting is *dead* according to several here.

Jun 7, 2022, 2:45 PM

It’s beginning to look like we may have recruited the best QB in the country two years running. And no matte what else happens, the QB is the key.

We appear to be holding in to our top WR recruit. More to come.

The OL recruits are warming up to Thomas Austin with several more in line.

Things are moving more slowly this time around, but that does not mean things are not moving in a positive direction.

We'll be there at the end...no worries.***

No one said Clemson's recruiting is dead. What people said was that we are missing out on some players that we usually get due to NIL and certain teams (namely A&M and now Tenn) paying players to go to their schools. Clemson's recruiting is definitely not dead.

Fully agree. We underperformed last year and started slow this year but seem to have turned it around. I believe the inability to get recruits on campus hut is more than the NIL. It’s hard to sell culture, relationships and atmosphere in a video call. Changing our tactics in terms of bringing guys in early for OVs also seems to have helped

Actually we are 3rd in average star ranking, tied for 3rd at 4.0 average, but with 6 recruits, more than any of the others. ??

Gotta love the momentum we are enjoying right now. I'll bet Vizinna is playing a role. Shout out.

I rather have Vizzina long before Manning. I have seen Manning several times live and the boy is so over-rated. He struggles against good teams and beats up on poor teams. He maybe a low 4 star but definitely not the #1 player in the country. His name gives him props.
