Maybe because most people are reading their news online now, rather than watching the news in the past. Since Gamecock fans cannot read, they are their new primary audience.

I seem to recall we also got one of those little cartons of Pet ice cream and a flat wooden spoon to eat it with. I think I also got say my name on TELEVISION, too! A LONG time ago for sure!!
