All the things that America warned would happen due to Communism is happening now under Capitalism.
Let's list off some of the most blaring similarities between the "Red Scare" stuff and what our modern Capitalist world is like now;
Mostly everything is owned and run by a handful of the population with far too many resources
The government actively spies on everything that its citizens do
The main forms of media are controlled by the people that run the country so that we only get the information they want us to see unless we find other methods
The work we do ultimately doesn't mean much because most of the value of our labour is being extracted by our overlords who keep taking but not producing
There's such an emphasis of the glory of our military and global dominance that isn't actually backed by anything
The government will literally kill its own citizens and take part in illegal activities to make more money and keep its people in line (see Operation Northwood and Gary Webb)
Means of a decent life are purposely taken away by the higher ups in order to keep the working class in line and poor
So to be completely fair, if the purpose of sending off millions of young Americans from past generations to die to protect the values of America and even stop Communism from invading the country, we have most certainly failed to uphold their sacrifices for us.

Back then you had the ORIGINAL "progressives" advocating things like abolition, eugenics, one world government, etc. Wealth inequality was almost as bad as today. Rockefeller and Standard Oil come to mind. Stocks were skyrocketing. Students in schools across America were REQUIRED to have new vaccines to attend. And it all started with a nice pandemic. The "roaring" 20's....lol
Anyway, history always repeats itself, usually with a twist or two, but in general..... it repeats.

I have very close Cuban friends who came to America after Castro took over. Trust me , Cuban Americans get it. Their eyes are wide open and they are really worried about America right now.
