when it becomes clear that I won't be a starter or see significant playing time at the school I'm currently attending.

I guess it's easier to try to find another program with lesser talent where you can play as opposed to actually working hard and earning a starting role or considerable playing time.

Would you take a new job with the chance of your desired outcome and probably better chance in a position you enjoy more or keep working because you’re “committed to that job” to possibly never get the opportunity and waste time you’ll never get back? Just wondering if you keep the same standards for yourself as these kids who only get 4 years or not is all.
