We will see how strong our culture is over the next few weeks.

Unless we fix the offense next week we are staring at 7-5, 8-4 at best. How soon before we start seeing opt outs, I hope our culture is strong enough and the kids believe what Dabo has sold them since they were recruited, but I really worry we will see someone like Justyn Ross opt out once he’s proven he’s good to go at the NFL level (a lot like LSU last year).

I was as proud or more of the 2017 team led by KB, they fought their tails off and finished with a 1 seed even losing to Syracuse. I still feel like we can have that same pride in this team, not a CFP berth, just finishing strong, maybe winning the conference (still possible) and/or a big bowl win. I feel like we got a lot of potential positives and things to enjoy, I just worry what the other side could look like.

The biggest worry now is for the players. With all the injuries piling up, we could be a shell of a team after the next game if things stay the same.

I saw a lot of frustration and poor effort from our team yesterday.

I get it, it’s super frustrating to be having the season we are. But seeing our team lack the same level of fight and toughness we are accustomed to seeing was tough.

Don’t get me wrong, our team played hard overall, but there were definitely occasions where guys didn’t play with quite the same energy or focus as in years past.

When you’re picked as a playoff team and national title contender, and you’re struggling, it’s going to be really hard to keep morale up.

If any coaches can turn the tide emotionally for our team, it’s Dabo & Co. They sure have their work cut out for them.

It was hard for me to tell if it was exhaustion or lack of effort (if you are talking defense).
