Someone yesterday posted that it was obvious something is wrong within the program and it needs to get fixed immediately. I agree with that. If it doesn’t here is my fear. We are dangerously close to being looked at as another UCF. Remember when they would blow through their conference and then kick and scream for not getting in the playoffs? Anyone outside of them would laugh and pull against them in their bowl game (which they usually lost). We’ve been laying that egg on a national stage now for several years and if it doesn’t get fixed, it’s going to get worse with expansion. Soon we will be hearing how we don’t belong and it’s only because of a weak conference that we are there. I realize you can’t win every game much less win a national championship every year. But when you have the resources and the fanatical fan base we have, you are expected to be competitive. Last night was a strange loss for sure, but I’d felt better about the loss if we’d played with some passion and fire. That’s been missing for a while now. I want the other team to know that they got punched in the mouth when the game is over. Anyway it was a good season with lots of ups and downs, but here’s to hoping we get that fire ? back and hold our own against anyone.

We were 0-2 against the SEC East.

I know some people hate saying it but if we had played in the SEC this year we probably have only 6 or 7 wins.

So honestly that logic you’re talking about kinda makes sense unfortunately

Thanks. I just want us showing up prepared to fight. I can take the losses but sure is hard to accept them knowing you’re much better. And I feel you’re correct. We will hear the media point out the ACC best just lost to a 3rd best SEC team I’m sure. And Tennessee deserved it. They were obviously more physical and ready.
