extra year for last year's players, how is this year's roster so diifferent ? Did all the juniors and seniors leave, leaving so many freshmen to fill the holes?

WELL OUR FRIDAY AND SATURDAY STARTER AND OUR CLOSER GOT DRAFTED AND LEFT BUT OTHER THAN A FEW OTHER PLAYERS WE ARE EXACTLY THE SAME. SMFH.

We lost quality pitching from Weatherly and Spiers. The lineup is similar but with Hackenberg and Hall injured we see more youth like French. Grice has been a pleasant addition, and he’s getting better at first base so I expect he’s now a fixture in the starting lineup depending on if Lee keeps in the pitching rotation.

To me
It looks like the baseball team just quit training, practicing, preparing all together last March. The whole team just stepped away and now they are literally crap. I’m looking to see them string a 7-10 game win streak together and hit a stride soon.

The baseball facilities were locked in March and players were not allowed to enter the facility again until August when students returned to campus.
The coaches weren't allowed in the building until mid summer.
What you are saying is exactly correct but it wasn't the choice of people in the baseball program.
Players were left to "figure it out" on their own from March to August.
Then there were several pauses and absences in the fall because of COVID testing and contact tracing.
This has certainly not been a typical year for baseball players in terms of development.
I'm assuming that all of the other teams had the same or similar circumstances though.
I think the loss of the 3 pitchers has been enormous because no matter what anybody tells you, every baseball team goes as their pitchers go.
Inconsistency on the mound causes all types of problems.
