The schools paying the players directly would have opened up a whole other set of problems. If you pay the football players then the men's basketball players would have demanded pay. If you pay the men then you have to play the women's basketball players. Soon the curling team would have gotten a cut. Where does it stop and where is the money going to come from to pay every athlete?

At least with the NIL the players are on their own. If they can make money from it, great. If not, the school isn't responsible.

Happy for him but Ross has not been able to recover mentally from his injury He is not the same guy that helped us win a Natty I’ve seen this movie before He is playing to protect himself instead of going up and making those catches of couple years ago We would be better just to let him play the boundary or sit him

Don't really understand 98% of the NIL spend.
