Seemed very diff than in the past… usually he’s quick to defend Dj like even in the cuse game talking about the curry reference… when he was asked it was a very quick “we’ll see” and that was it. Seems like he knows at this point either a change needs to be made or atleast cade deserves the chance at a few drives and see what he can do… could be way off but maybe just maybe after that debacle yesterday he gets cade in a game in Charlotte atleast not for a few drives (which I’m sure it’ll be 95% run or handoffs) but if he runs that sat we win the game easily imo

The offense also failed to flip the field position battle. The defense was consistently having to defend USuck drives that started near midfield.

The offense scored on a sustained drive in the 3rd and went up by nine. It took 2 plays for the defense to give up 7 and put it back to a 2pt game.

I wonder what the altercation amongst the DBs was about on the sideline. Anytime you have something like that happening, you’re losing focus

and rightfully so.
When the offense gets on the field with a lead they are expected to run off clock to secure the win and the offense was botching it up and then some the whole second half. that just creates opportunities for the other teams offense.

The defense played terrible I’ll give you that but still 8 completions … and only 3-4 were behind the line of scrimmage ? Come on that’s pathetic and you have a rb that’s averaging 9 yards a carry and has what 3 Carries in the 4th… the defense has had a couple bad games for sure but at the same time they have a ton of pressure on them bc no one has confidence this offense can go move the ball and score … and they have been on the field a TON this year after a bunch of 3 and outs… bad offense translates to bad defense sometimes, but I do agree I don’t understand why this nfl loaded d line can’t get any pressure on anyone with far less talent even when we blitz… and getting burnt like we did imo is just selfish football … 4th and one your safety has one job , if they run it up the middle you aren’t making that stop so do your one job and keep the one guy running down the field in front of you or atleast stay with him… the defense has been a head scratcher at times but offense has been an issue for this program without a doubt especially yesterday we had no passing game to speak of

the DJ experiment, and perhaps the Streeter experiment too, has come to an end. Even a one-eyed blind man should be able to see that.
