ACC pod - Clemson

This is what my maff is telling me.

1-Va Tech
8-nc State (possible, this is still variable)
12- Clemson

* I'm making the assumption that should we tie with Pitt which is the best we can do, Pitt would hold the tie breaker based on their sweep of us. If so, then we can finish no better than 12th.

I should also make clear this goes off the assumption va tech beats Duke today. I would imagine the incentive from va tech is there.

all bolstering their resumes this weekend with each looking for a sweep tomorrow. NCAA may have to go 11 deep this year with the ACC.

The thing with going 11 deep is there's only so many spots available. 32 after the auto bids. Don't think they'd use 10 of those 32 on ACC.

It'll get interesting because I really think the prediction from analysts didn't expect all 3 to win their series this week.

then getting a regional bid is probably something we haven’t earned this year anyway.

If we want to get a bid and make any noise at all in the NCAA, we need to prove ourselves in the ACC tournament.

Best to just win it and get the automatic bid. Right?

We play terrible away from home but I think we can beat nc state. And we will see about Virginia tech.
