Drink my coffee - why did we lose to Cuse?

We lost because we dont have the step on your throat mentality.

Yeah yeah build depth by playing backups....but think about it...

If you’re wake forest you think, man look how tightly BC played Clemson, we just might have a shot.

Then if you're cuse you think, oh man look how close that wake game was, we might have a chance...

When you leave room for doubt it invigorates the opponent, it gives them a chance, and cuse took advantage of it.

This game had less to do with injuries and more to do with mental fortitude. Now lets say we beat wake and BC by 30 or more points and no garbage scores either.l.the next teams coach is going to have a difficult time convincing the players they can win.

Case in point - Bama leaves no doubt they obliterate teams / even the suckeyes who yes lost thsi year still steam roll the opponent when they can. When a team your supposed to beat walks thru the tunnel in Bama and Columbus, they already have lost on most occasions.

We clearly could have steam rolled opponents but didnt - are we tryng to play nice ? No team is going to play nice back thats for sure- when you're the defending champs everyone wants a piece.

I love the coaches and the players and yes they do know a heck of a lot more than I do, but DW is not there anymore to save them (even in pitt loss, broke records).

Sorry for the long post, we will improve and yes we are including myself all spoiled...

GoTigers! Everyone enjoy your weekend ??????

We should have won but we are not as good as last year

As Watson puts up sicker numbers in NFL, I worry more.

We lost due to a hurt starting qb, no FG kicker, TONS of penalties, and subpar coaching.

Beating Wake or BC by a combined score of 132-0 wouldn’t have changed that.

Bammer beat Vandy and Ole Miss by about that spread and aTm didn’t bow down to them. An aTm team that had trouble beating Nichols.

Backup time is important for evaluation. This is where the subpar coaching comes into play. Johnson has shown ability to throw intermediate and down field balls. And shown touch. Cooper has not. Also seems more natural and comfortable on the field. Got to use your eyes and make the right decision in QBs.

Teams come out flat some weeks, don’t respect their opponent, play down to the competition, etc. That’s just sports. It sucks, but you’re gonna have these types of games. To be on the roll we’re on and rarely lose these games is a blessing, but it’s still gonna happen from time to time.

Regroup and heal up. And that goes to players and coaches. Everyone can do better than that and should strive for excellence. How bad does this team want it? How do they respond to adversity? That’s what I’m interested in seeing.

GO TIGERS!!!

Team was not flat. KB never should have been in the game. Cooper will never win a game in Clemson uniform
