No ACCCG for Clemson this year! Amazing!

4-5* players can't score 20pts a game! Dabo has to clean up his walk-on player roster and fill it up with more 4-5* players because with the transfers and injuries, you can't have 11 family and friend players taking schollies.
Seriously, Dabo had to change his recruiting philosophy immediately or we will never recover.
I guarantee no team in America has more friends and family players on the team than Clemson. Roster management needs to be cleaned up immediately and we are sitting 2yrs from recovery.
While I don't mind feel good stories but an eight of your roster filled with non-star players is not going to keep you elite.

Mr Bloodorange, please look at the scholarship list on Tnet, that shows players by year. You tell me that we have more talent than ever, especially in the classes that matter and you are surely mistaken.
I had no clue that our most Sr class has like 8 friends and family players to include the Daniel HS boys and players that have played 5yrs as walk-ons and give a final year half schollie. If you don't see our roster is totally skewed, then you are blind!!
A lot of these guys will be gone next year, but this roster has been mismanaged. I never agreed with that statement until I dug into it earlier today and I guarantee there isn't a top 25 roster that looks like ours!!
Time to get the big boys back on roster then when we loose a 4star Jr, we have a 5star Soph ready to play. Not 5th year family!

I think you missed my point! Look at all the talent especially critical years of Jr and Sr, look at those years and tell me there are studs everywhere, and more specific look at Offense. We are lacking a huge talent gap in our upperclass offense. Yes, I know we have talent, never will deny. But we have more No Star skill players traveling on offense than we do 4-5star players. We have 82 schollies filled and the Nepotism fills a lot of upper classmen or players that never see the field.
We are losing older players like Lyn J and Dukes that should be game changers and we are relying on 4-5* sophs and fresh. Therefore the roster management is horrible.
Pretty sure the coaches could afford to pay for the Swinney's, Brown's, Rencher's and Venables to play football vs filling with schollies with Daniel HS players!
Bad roster management to have that many total in the classes they are in. Period! Argue that and you are wrong!

Agreed. The talent is there. Don't know if you all have rewatched the 2016 national championship lately but that was a much less talented team on paper. Though you could SEE the fire in their bellies.

Brown looked pretty good. Better than some of the 5 starts. But you’re correct. Far too many friends and family kids on scholarship.
