you need to come to terms with the fact that the WH was a sheet show. Our President sat back and watched people invade the Capital to impede the actions of Congress. Not only did he not lift a dang finger to try to stop it, but cheered it.
It's an eff'ing disgrace, as is any attempt to make light of it.
If you're ok with that, then admit it.
Otherwise, at some point, even you will have to run out of steam trying to dismiss the testimony of republicans serving in the administration and in the WH.

The thing is, it really doesn't matter what the MAGA's think anymore. This isn't a political matter anymore, it's a legal one.
Defense attorneys for these folks are not going to win their cases by making farting sounds in the courtroom, putting their fingers in their ears, and going: "la-la-la-la-la!" like a six-year-old who doesn't want to hear something.
Well, Rudy and the Elite Legal Strike Team may try that, but that's also why they went 1-for-61 on election challenges, too.
Even more worryingly for Trump & the Gang, these cases are going to be tried in DC. Spotting the lurking MAGA fanatics who will not vote to convict no matter what they hear will be a challenge, but hardly an insurmountable one in DC. So that 1-for-61 streak seems likely to keep right on growing, too.
Yesterday felt like the roof finally caving in on MAGA, to me. It was always going to happen at some point.
Mark Meadows now has massive exposure. John Eastman now has massive exposure. Rudy now has massive exposure. Michael Flynn and Roger Stone now have massive exposure. All of those sketchballs have to hold firm and be willing to take the hit for Trump...or he's well and truly fried as well, because they're all likely to be holding evidence they can trade to at least partially save their own skins.
Wanna play the game of "which one of those guys makes a deal first?"
For my money, I think most of them do except for Flynn. I have an idea a deal may not be in the offering, for him. The Feds have beef with that guy.
