Of course he can, the only issue I see is players don’t commit to schools anymore they commit to coaches. BV has a proven track record of getting defensive guys to the league, same way Riley did with offensive players. In the long term we will be fine but can’t help to think short term going to have a little issue

Dabo's kept Robbie Caldwell on staff long after it was obvious that Caldwell's recruiting did not reflect the status of the program. It has cost us National Championships. How long did it take for Danny Pearman to get moved to a position where he couldn't continue to damage the program?

I’m not a sunshine pumper but Dabo built this thing and the man has made some tremendous hires. Not perfect but pretty solid overall. If he promotes from within he has his reasons. BV is the freaking best, but there are other great DC’s. People need to chill and let this thing run it’s course.

Find a new DC. Dabo with Clemson as a program can do that as the one who brought Brent in the first place.

I’m neither. I said he’s the best. What do you suggest, we cancel the program. Bama deals with this all the time, we’re not necessarily Bama but we’ve been fortunate to not have turnover. It’s part of big time football. I do worry about short term recruiting but again I think Dabo isn’t being blindsided by this.

Well, when I have a valuable employee that I feel I can’t replace, I do things, anything possible to keep him. I’m hoping we are doing that right now and this the delay in any official announcement coming out.
