Fans in the country y’all do realize that it was a scrimmage, majority of our main offensive guys were out, the ones left were split into two groups, still have young guys coming in and could possibly have one of the best defenses in CFB history. But yeah let’s get on tigernet and cry because in the spring game we didn’t put 40 on our defense in which then you’d be crying about how bad our defense is. Btw most teams starters aren’t going to be able to move the ball against our first or second string defense let alone a split offense missing key parts. Thanks for the laughs though ??

I guess so we went to the spring game and had an amazing time, glad to see Cade live he’s as advertised. But with how many offensive guys were out and knowing they are split no way have high expectations on seeing what the offense was all about. Now I knew we were going to be good on defense but we looked amazing out there way faster and more athletic then last year and that’s saying a lot with how good the defense was last year

That d line is deep enough that either the white or the orange d line could be starting at most schools. I believe they will be living in opponent’s backfields (and their heads) this year.

If people would just shut up about Politics, life would be better for those around them.
If people quit whining about BB, this forum would be better for the readers.
If people quit whining about Dabo, this forum could be much more informative.
But, out of the group above, only Dabo has turned our fans from optimistic and excited to entitled and whiny. Sure can’t blame BB…
Let’s get good ol Tommy West back and get back to the mediocrity of the old days - it would put this bunch back in their comfort zone.
Now that it is natty or bust, the fans are so much smarter than the man that led us here…You sound like gator fans in the Spurrier era.

I personally haven’t posted about the spring game until now. But it seems so many can’t accept the fact that multiple things can be true. You are right about some of your points. We are missing guys and they are split up. Who knows how the defense fares with a new coordinator. I believe they will be great but who really knows. Regardless of that, both QB’s made some good throws, some terrible throws, and looked lost at times. The Oline has issues, and not just because we are thin in numbers. They look completely lost at times. We dropped two snaps on punts, and just one can be a game changer. WR’s are still dropping easy balls. The defense looked very good, but still made critical penalties. There are real problems that this team is facing. If you can’t see that, then you weren’t watching. Luckily it was just a scrimmage, we were missing a good number of good players, they were split up, and we’ve still got a good amount of time to go before GT.

It was a poor attempt to cover a spring game by Acc network. Either cover the whole thing or put it on ESPN and move the second half to ESPN2 or the App.

For example before our last game against them some coot was telling me how they were going to win, and I asked him the name of their starting quarterback, and he couldn’t tell me. That’s dumb.
We are kind of a whiny fan base, myself included. We like to win and we don’t win we get pissed off

I did not attend for the first time in years. Mainly because the Masters was on and the weather was horrible temp wise. The family went which they enjoyed but I never really get any feel for how anything is going to be compared to when it gets real. Not sure why we are continually having injury issues and we are not even into the season, but the teams are split and you can only touch the QB. I just can never get the feel of anything watching it. I do like to be supportive of the team I guess is why I have normally attended, but it should never be held on the Masters weekend for an avid golf fan as myself. Watched that from the first tee time till the final group finished 18. Only happens once a year.

I thought the spring game was good .
It def showed that Cade has ALL the tools and will be just fine this season with the first team O.
It showed me DJ is just a slight upgrade to what he was last season.

On Offense. Dropped balls, mis-timed throws, overthrows, throws placed incorrectly… the downfield passing game needs some serious work.

I guess this thread means there are people complaining about the lack of offense? Impossible to move the ball or throw downfield with half the scholarship WR's out of the contest (and we were thin there before the injuries). We had one scholarship running back, two O line starters out and a good defense. IMO if the defensive coordinators played a press coverage and brought more blitzes there would have been even less offense. Still plenty to see and evaluate if you watched matchups on the line of scrimmage. If they went 1's against 3's and 4's they could have scored plenty of points but other than the soft coverage they went a lot of good on good and in the end, walk on versus walk on. No complaints, enjoyed it, saw what I wanted to see. I know all about how good our D line is (with Bresee out) and the OL had Mcfadden and Parks out. Slice it any way you wish, IMO the OL is still a work in progress if you watched the matchups.

You mean to tell me that Tigernet nation isn’t qualified to make a determination on our QB depth chart based on us seeing only one of the 16 practices? Even if it means that they split the squad as evenly as possible just for our entertainment? Blasphemy!
