Hotels in Tampa

Where is everybody staying? I need to book a few rooms for my party. I know there isn't a ton of availability but hoping some of the OSU and Washington fans drop some of their reservations today.

The only hotels left in Tampa/St Pete/Clearwater are dumps

Plus they are outrageously priced. I saw a Quality Inn for $400 per night. No thanks.

I recommend staying in Lakeland or Orlando. Much nicer rooms and much better prices if you don't mind staying a little farther outside of Tampa.

Start looking in Pinellas/St Pete area. Rooms going fast all over the area

May seem far out (1h30m), but plenty of rooms and places to eat/visit (duh!). We had a blast at the ACCCG and are looking forward to similar results!

We booked in Ocala. Very nice area of FL but its about as far as Orlando plus its on the way.

I've got a extra room in St Pete (Trade Winds Resort) that I'm not going to use. It sleeps 4 two queen beds, awsome resort. Will sell $165 a night check in Sunday check out Wed. Must be 21

Beach condos available for ~$200 a night that sleep 5 or more. About a 40 minute drive to the stadium.

Booked at the Sleep Inn and Suites in Ocala about a month ago. An hour North of Tampa but on the way home just off the highway.

Booked 2BR townhome with hot tub in Orlando for $122 (plus tax tag and title)...Encantada CLC World Resort in Kissimmee through Expedia (join first and room is cheaper).

Going Saturday with the kiddos to tool around Orlando on Sunday.
