That’s what’s the most disappointing thing about this year’s Tigers. We were a very good team, but we could/would also play like crap at times. The losses to uSuC, Loyola, Louisville and Morehead State games are prime examples.
Just disappointing….

Thats why you play the game.. any team can beat any team on any given night. That same team can lose to anyone on any given night.
What do you think Purdue & UVA fans are talking about now?

but this team had too many inexplicable losses - obviously what kept them out of the NCAA

if there was a national award for this I'm thinking we would win it. PJ well or not Loyola and Coot losses were horrendous. Of course being out played by Morehead was coup de grasse or the think you dont want in A PUNCHBOWL

You better beat most teams that you are favored against and win some of the others. Clemson did not do one of those requirements. I hate it also

Brownell Bros say early season losses to bad teams shouldn’t count so stop trying to hold losing to us against PSU.

Yep losing to some very weak teams hurt our chances. Not sure what everyone sees in NC State. I must have missed something this season.

Y’know, by their ‘metric’, losing to us three times should’ve disqualified them, right?
The only ‘consolation’ I got out of the pack making the tournament was to see them lose in the first round. But then, I remember losing to Morehead State at Littlejohn. Just can’t find any silver lining to this season….. sigh!
