Opt Outs

If a player opts out of a bowl game and still has a semester of school, Shouldn't he be responsible for that? Might cure some of this

If a player is opting out then they at least believe they are on their way to the league. All they would need to do to retain access to facilities while they train for combine is 1 class to be an active student.

So probably wouldn't do anything at all.

they have to maintain their academic status

but the school has probation protocols before they boot you So you could stop going to class.. fail..but still stay at least 1 more semester.


bout the only thing you can do now to lose eligibility is hire an agent and take money...but a smart agent would just call it NIL so i dunno if it really matters.





YOU are not guaranteed access to any IPTAY athletic facility, that is up to the athletic department.

Also, we need to treat the players well or we won't be able to recruit. They're not in the military.

If you were a high school player would you go to a school that took away scholarships? Just because a player suits up does not mean he gives the effort and that, or fake injuries is what you would have if the NCAA made that a rule. The entire picture of college athletics is just wrong now because college is for education or should be. Times have changed.
