Watson can't hit a long pass to save his life

Oct 17, 2015, 8:33 PM

Love the kid, but Tajh would have thrown 4 TD's over the top already. He threw the best long balls I've ever seen.

He's off tonight, but he's playing well enough to win***

Sophomore slump?

I was thinking the same thing about Tajh

As good as Watson has been, he's definitely struggling with his deep throws tonight.

Tajh may not have been perfect, but when it came to throwing deep, he's as good as I've seen from and college QB. I may be a bit biased, but it would be very difficult for someone to throw a better deep ball.

Tajh sometimes lost games like this, though***

love me some Boyd, but he was throwing to...

Oct 17, 2015, 8:58 PM

Hopkins, watkins and Bryant. Missing some Williams, who can adjust to the ball, like the others. Scott can as well, but not tall. Peake runs good routes, but if you don't hit his numbers, Farve couldn't pass to him...

You are comparing Boyd to Watson. When Boyd was a sophomore he was on the bench. Secondly he had Watkins, Hopkins, Allen and Ford. Not one kid on this current roster is as good as those 5 were when the offense was at its highest level. If you give Watson those 4 he lights the score board up. Nuk and Sammy never let a ball get picked off. They fought for everything. Plus they are faster than the WRs we have currently. You can't compare those two WRs come on bro. Be reasonable.

With you on everything except Boyd won the ACC his sophomore campaign. Dead spot on about the recievers though. Bryant, Hump, Nuke, Watkins, and Ford. Some of the best recievers to come through here!
