It’s one thing for Clemson to take a chance on someone as young and inexperienced as Neff since he was an internal hire (weird - one of Neff’s biggest proponents on this board - for retaining Brownell - seems to think similarly inexperienced hires by our football coach are unacceptable) but for another school to come after him less than a year into the job seems a little strange.

Neff is a Georgia Tech alumnus. Would be odd for him to leave Clemson for Georgia Tech though considering he has Dabo and an administration committed to athletic success and a large passionate fan base. I just don't see that commitment at Georgia Tech. But who knows. D-Rad left Clemson for his alma mater at the University of Miami.

And a huge raise. DRad’s pay went from around $800k per year to $3 million. Maybe being his alma mater helped in the decision but I doubt it.
