Was that the fastest a coach has been fired and then hired?

Dec 6, 2021, 2:54 PM

when Miami did it? Wow! And DRad wants to go work for those slim balls? Thought he had better integrity than that. If he lets their basketball coach go quicker than he would ever Brownell than must be their top honchos making movies than what the BOT here wants to do?

Alabama's Price, OLeary at Notre Dame, Kiffin at UT?

Manny seems to have paid his dues. Save for only being the coach at Temple for 24 hours

Manny should be hired as next DC for the next couple of years, if he'd take it..

and I meant a guy being fired, and then hiring a new guy with in just two hours if not less. They were negotiating the hiring of Crystalbol before firing Diaz. That is despicable.

Ahh, well gotcha. Texas twice. Herman to Sark was the same day I think. Basically Charlie Strong to Herman was under 24 hours. You had Jimbo and Tomlin separated by a week. Florida and Mullen/McEwlain were less than a month but could have been longer because the Ewww was going to lawyer up. Weis to Kelly was about 10 days.

Nobody is fooling anybody. Cristobal was hired before Diaz was fired. That Miami Prez is a slime ball, DRad better beware.

I actually do not see a huge difference between what Miami did and what occurs everyday in sports for players and organizations. Coach's will sign a five year extension just to leave the next year. Players constantly get traded or released from their programs just to bring in a bigger star.

Would I like it in my line of work, no, but I don't have a contract with my company where if they fire me they have to pay me for the remaining two years or whatever is left.
