RJ Mickens

Aug 18, 2021, 11:45 AM

Did anybody notice in the spring game that he looked like he spent some valuable time in the weight room since last year? He had an INT in the spring game, and was the #1 player out of TX in 2020. I’m expecting big things from him and wouldn’t be surprised if he passes Zanders this year.

I want Zanders to be great, especially since he reminds me of Steelers legend TP43; but I just am not sold on him yet. There is not much more exciting things to watch in football than a ball hawking safety who can hit.

Was not the #1 player out of Texas.

May the best man win! We need help in DB and OL land. Hopefully Mickens can bring it!

If Lannden has completely healed from his surgery repairing his rotator cuff, and his labrum, he will be a boiler for our defensive back side. I mean, I thought he was doing a really good job at one point, then all of a sudden he looked like he had forgotten what he learned about playing his position.

I think that we will see a new, and improved Lannden Zanders if he has completely healed in his shoulder, and the psychological part caused by the injury. Go Zanders, Go Tigers!!!

Zanders was playing hurt last year

Look for significant strides from him now that he's 100%. We definitely don't look bad at safety this year.
