You do know until the mid 70’s that the ACC had much stricter standards for academics among their student-athletes right? A more fair comparison of records would be from the mid 70’s through today.

beating Nebraska in the Orange bowl in 1981. We have most recently won two CFP titles over Bama in 2016 and 2018. The last one was a 44-16 blowout of an undefeated Bama who was claimed to be the best Bama team ever. Our 28 point win over Bama in the 2018 CFP was/is Saban's biggest loss margin since he came to Bama.
