That’s a really bad idea. The scratch and sniff, not the cobbler.

Oh my goodness do you have the recipe

Jun 24, 2022, 10:55 PM

I just bought some fresh picked Blackberries tonight, planning to do the same. It’s my favorite cobbler of all time!

I also love Blackberry jam with Peanut Butter or on homemade biscuits too!

The common recipe for most cobblers is

Jun 25, 2022, 6:46 AM

6 cups of your fruit of choice
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 stick of butter
1 egg
1 cup of milk(I add the milk last, starting with about a half cup, to get the batter consistency I like)
If peach cobbler, I add some cinnamon, about a teaspoon.

This will make enough for a 12x9 casserole dish. I put in the fruit first, then pour the batter over the fruit, some folks prefer to put the fruit on top of the batter.

Bake at 350 degrees for about an hour, or until the crust is a nice brown color.

I top my bowl of cobbler with a big scoop of butter pecan ice cream...I just like it better than plain ole vanilla!

Only thing in this world that tops blackberry, is a peach with a heavy crust like yours. All of a sudden mine don't taste quite as good.

Was this from your home garden? Super impressive! I grew some myself but they didn't produce like yours.

I guess your question is for the OP, but my peaches came

Jun 25, 2022, 10:45 AM

from my trees. I have six of them, and had been getting plenty of peaches, giving away some to family and neighbors, but this year, the late freeze got most of them. I may have enough to eat fresh and make a couple cobblers!

Augusta Grill in Gville has an amazing blackberry cobbler as well if you're ever out and about.
